Che Douglas is currently SVP, Head of Design at The Wall Street Journal, where he leads the teams that are responsible for the design of the The Wall Street Journal apps, websites, publishing tools, newsletters and voice experiences.
Prior to moving to New York, Che founded and ran Beyond The Pixels, an award-winning branding and digital product design agency in Melbourne, Australia. There he worked on high-profile projects for the Clinton Foundation, Melbourne Airport, Clayton Utz, Pana Chocolate, The University of Melbourne, Starward Whisky and The Australian Design Biennale, providing design expertise from strategy to execution.
Che’s contribution to design has been recognized with numerous industry awards. He frequently speaks at events and universities, is a juror on award panels and twice had a seat on the Australian Design Biennale Committee, 2012 and 2014 at MONA.
